Mail merges issues from Microsoft word 2007 to Microsoft Word 2010

Hello guys,

I'm using Microsoft Word 2007. I used to prepare Company documents here.

Today I have prepared one document after that I converted to Microsoft Word 2010. But in this mail merge document I got some issues. In the document I used Header and Footer it came nicely with Word 2007. After mail merge in Word 2010 the header and footer are missing, but all other pages came correctly.

I never faced this type of issue before? Can somebody please suggest me to fix this problem. Thanks a lot in advance, guys!

Hi,

From what I understood from your question, I believe that the first /title page of your document somehow lost the header/footer, whereas, the remaining pages in the document display just the same way as your MS Word 2007 document.

If this is the case, then I suggest you try some of these methods:

Click on File> Options> Display

Go to Print Layout View

Check the box – “Show white space between pages in Print Layout View”

Hope this resolves your concern.

Best,

Nick
