Mail converter error – cannot configure it on vtiger demo

I have recently started using mail converter on my system but I am facing a problem with its configurations. When I tried to configure it on vtiger demo, I got the following screen:

 

 

Which is in fact an ideal situation but when I try to do it on my own host , it doesn’t work and I get an error. The screenshot of the error is attached below:

 

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated. Looking forward to your suggestions

Hi there Ryan D Jones,
 
The error says 'Connecting to the mailbox failed'. That means that you misconfigured something in your mail configuration. I don't know the configuration of your mail host, so can't give you the detailed instructions, but here are a few hints what to try:
 
Try entering your username without the domain name.
Try moving SSL type from SSL to No TLS.
Also, try switching the protocol to another option.
And of course – make sure your password is correct.
