Hi guys,

I have recently started using the Winamp player.

I was listening to music the other day using the Winamp player that suddenly an error popped up on my screen.

The screenshot of the error is as follows:
Internal WASAPI lock-up detected

Maiko failed!

Internal WASAPI lock-up detected, please report this!

Stalled 28672 out of 9600 tolerance.

                                                     OK

open: Failed to stop!!!

Maiko failed!

open: Failed to stop!!!

                     OK

When I pressed OK on both the boxes in the above screen shot, I was able to continue with my music but still I can’t understand why this error appeared.

Has anyone else encountered this problem also?

If yes please help me out in resolving it.

Regards,

Bob.

Hi Dear,

The problem you are facing is caused by your internal device driver.

Your Device Driver locked-up at 300 ms.

1. Uninstall Winamp.

2. Clean Registry by any registry cleaner software like Uniblue Registry Booster.

3. Update your Sound Driver & restart. If there is no updates un-install & then re-install Driver. (the most Important part).

4. Re-install Winamp latest version.

5. That’s all.

Updating your sound Driver will solve this problem. Try not to mod Winamp too much. People try to access Winamp application for custom result that’s why most error came up. If you use just as a simple player it mostly don’t give any error.
