I have been using this Macbook for a while now and decided to add Windows 7. I partitioned part of the drive and everything seemed fine. Until I tried to connect to the internet and now it can not see the router? Is there a way to fix this and leave Windows 7?

Happy to support you!

Please follow these steps that would help you solve the issue
  • First of all, make sure that the router's driver is compatible with Windows 7. If not, do a driver update  or get a new compatible utility software & check for the connectivity.

  • Go to network & sharing center & recheck whether the network connection is detectable & the network settings are set properly.

  • Plug in your router or modem via Ethernet cable, enable "Automatically get recommended drivers and updates" for your hardware and watch for driver to be installed in bottom-right System Tray. Then run Optional Windows Updates to make the router detectable.

  • Go to control panel Device Manager click on Network driver, select the modem on Driver tab and have it Update Automatically.
