Dear All,

I managed to get myself a new macbook air 2014. When i brought it back home i was unable to connect to my home wifi network. I have a huawei router and i tried to reset the router a number of times to no avail. I am sure that my connection is not faulty as i can connect my mobile phone and my old laptop. Any suggestions please ?

You may want to contact your wifi manufacturer or dealer if it support Macbook Air. Considering also if the Wifi has the latest software installed. Otherwise, it may not be able to support new gadgets released in the market. Of just simply follow the instructions provided by your gadget in connecting to third party Wifi device.

Hello,

It sounds as if you have a driver issue. Consult the router manufacturer web site for a driver. Consult the laptop manufacturer web site for a driver as well. Also, verify that your laptop operating system has all of the latest updates. Another option is to use a search engine to see if an individual has written a device driver that can solve this problem. The wifi software on your laptop could also be the issue. Try using alternate software for the purpose of wifi connection.
