I've logged all my clips and I'm ready to capture. Whenever, I'm in the capture tool I keep getting this, 'Mac error code -37 bad file name, there may be no bad file names in the final system!'

I don't know what file it's referring to. My bin and project is named YSA, the tape name is YSA 1.

If you are getting an “Error Code 37,” this can only be one of two things.

  1.     You are trying to make some changes and save a file with unrecognizable characters, special characters. Most computer systems will only accept alphanumeric characters but you must also consider the number of characters allowed. Going beyond this, will give you an error or will not allow you to save the changes you want.
  2.     Other than getting the error code 37, if you see any other thing that seems to be out of the ordinary in your computer system. It’s possible that the program or the system itself might be corrupted.

Try to do step 1 first. If it works then great! If not, then do a complete system scan, to see if anything is wrong with the system. Hope this helps.
