MAC Error In Application Installation (Inquisitor)

If you are having problems installing almost any applications on your Mac OS X, there is probably a problem in your system. Stop installing anything first. Then try checking your machine for possible virus infection. A virus infection on a system can corrupt different system files and may prevent the user from installing applications to it and sometimes if the installation was successful, it will not run properly. Update your antivirus then run a full system scan on your machine.

If the check didn’t find any virus, try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like PC Tools Performance Toolkit, Norton SystemWorks, or Norton Utilities. You can search the web for Mac versions of these programs. After the disk check, try installing something again and see if it’ll finish successfully. If it still doesn’t, you should check the system requirements of the application that you are trying to install. Maybe it’s really not compatible with Mac OS X.

If there is really no incompatibility issue between the program and your operating system, the last solution would be to format your computer and install your operating system again.
