Mac App Store reporting “Error 100”

I recently update my MAC App Store but the thing is, it reported a weird "Error 100".

We could not complete your App Store request.  An unknown error occurred (100).

There was an error in the App Store.  Please try again later.

OK

I've checked my internet connection, I've changed the firewall settings, I've also deactivated my Antivirus but still the same "Error 100" again.

I don't even think that it's a software problem. Please help me to fix this error code.

Hey Afroasia,

There are two solutions for this issue.

1. You need to download any application from Apple Mac Store, restart your laptop and it will work again.

2. Sign out from Mac Apple Store, go to the quick links in Mac Store homepage , click account, sign out, log out from your PC and Log in again, open Mac Store , sign in, try to download application, accept terms when asked, download will start , if your problem could not resolved then restart your Mac Store.

Hi,

Go to Mac Store’s Quick Link and Sign out through the Account tab:

Restart your Mac Store application by closing the app and opening it again.

Once re-opened, sign in and try to purchase a free app. This should work fine.

If the problem persists, restart your PC instead.
