Lotus notes when pasted data changes into picture

That is one problem Lotus Notes has, it can automatically change the data that you have pasted into images. It is important to note that the bitmap (BMP) images that are imported into a Lotus Notes document are compressed format, which is the GIF or JPG format.

You will need to use the following procedure to try and rectify that:

• In lotus notes, you will need to select File,
• And then you will choose Preferences,
• Followed by Basic Notes Client Configuration,
• And then you will select the appropriate setting under Additional options.

The setting you should select should allow the data to retain the default format upon pasting it, and not change to image format.
