Hi Tom Mills,

To change your passwords in LOTUS NOTES you have to do the following:

  • on your menu select FILE  then SECURITY and choose USER SECURITY
  • then enter your password in your LOTUS NOTES
  • then select security basics and choose password change button below your passwords settings.
  • then enter again your lotus notes password
  • In the dialog box appear CHANGE PASSWORD  and you have to enter your NEW PASSWORD in the blank field and re enter your new password again to confirm it and click ok.
  • there will be a notification that your password are being updated.

To change your password in your LOTUS NOTES INTERNET always remember that LOTUS in web has an individual password in logging in.

     You must do the following:

  • Open your LOTUS NOTES
  • you have to select and double click the " UMAC'S Address Book to open it then type first your name in your department code.
  • On top of the screen click "  Edit person "
  • Choose the TAB "BASICS"
  • Select  "  enter  password" button in the blank field to change your Internet password.
  • Enter your PASSWORD in your LOTUS WEB MAIL.

Hope this might help you,

thanks,

To change your Lotus Notes password:

  1. When in Lotus Notes, choose the menu options File.

  2. Click Security and then User Security. Enter your Lotus Notes password.

  3. Then click the Security Basics.

  4. Click on the “Change Password” button under the “Your Log On and Password Settings.” Again, enter your Lotus Notes password and your new password in the “Enter new password” field and then enter it again in the “Re-enter new password” field. Remember, passwords are case sensitive and usually have a minimum number of required characters.

  5. Click OK.

Your Lotus Notes password is now successfully changed.

To change your Lotus Notes password in window based PC, just click FILE, SECURITY and then choose USER SECURITY. After that, just click SECURITY BASICS and then click CHANGE PASSWORD.

ENTER NEW PASSWORD and RE-ENTER it in the RE-ENTER NEW PASSWORD field and click OK. Since your password is stored in your notes ID, don't forget to update any back up copies of your notes ID with your new password.

In the other way, to change your Lotus Notes password in Macintosh OS X, just choose NOTES – SECURITY- USER SECURITY.

And then click SECURITY BASICS and then click CHANGE PASSWORD under your LOG-IN and PASSWORD SETTINGS.

In the CHANGE PASSWORD DIALOG BOX, enter a new password, re-enter it and then click OK.
