Hello,

Suddenly this error appeared while I was writing something in Lotus. I think I might lost everything because I cannot open the program anymore, every time this error appears and the reinstall is not helping. What cause this error ? How can I solve this one ?

Thanks !

The problem when this kind of error appears is that you don’t have a clue about the error your program encounters. Since reinstalling Lotus Notes doesn’t help and you can no longer start the application, try opening it as administrator. Right-click on the Lotus Notes shortcut then select Properties. Select Compatibility tab then check “Run this program as an administrator” and then click OK.

Start Lotus Notes again and see if it works. Also, make sure your computer meets all the necessary requirements for Lotus Notes. Depending on the version of your operating system, try updating Windows to the latest Service Pack. If you are using Windows XP, the latest is Service Pack 3. For Windows 7, the latest is Service Pack 1.

If updating the Service Pack doesn’t help, upgrade Lotus Notes to the latest version. Download Lotus Notes 9.0.1 Social Edition. It requires Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 x86 only, Windows 7 [Enterprise or Professional], Windows 8 [Enterprise or Professional], and Windows 8.1 [Enterprise or Professional] both x86 and x64.
