I have recently installed the Lotus Notes rich client (v8.5) on a new Fedora 11 system, but I get this message that there is a problem with font.

How to configure which fonts it tries to use and what fonts the Notes client is trying to use?

error message:

cur new machine will be here on Tuesday 1st but sadly won't be operational until Thursday, 3rd Please allow time around 11am to be at the training session.

Proper use of the machine will ensure that we don't have any maintenance issues with it.

Elinor.

Hi there Lhane!

Setting up fonts in Lotus Notes is easy but only some fonts can be configured. You can configure some of it by going to File then click Preferences > Basic Notes Clients Configuration > Default Fonts.

The main UI font Notes default is “Luxi Sans”. The font is used to be part of Fedora you know but is not any longer. You can download the font from rpm.pbone.net. Here is the link.

Try to install the rpm then check out your Lotus Notes. It will surely look different from what you have now. Good Luck now!
