Hi there,
During the install of Lotus Notes this error appeared. I have the good installer and is compatible with my Windows XP. I tried different installers from many sources and nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me please to fix this ? How can I install Lotus Notes ?

Lotus Notes 8 error during the install cause of a bad installer
If you have or you are trying to install Lotus Notes 8.5.3 and you are running Microsoft Windows XP then there should be no problem. Lotus Notes 8.5.3 supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 are not supported in this version. For Windows XP, the application supports x86 Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 or higher and Windows XP Tablet PC.
Lotus Notes 8.5.3 doesn’t support x64 Microsoft Windows XP. If you have Windows XP but still you cannot install Lotus Notes, check if you have Service Pack 2. If you are not running Service Pack 2, upgrade your operating system to Service Pack 2. Download Windows XP Service Pack 2. Once downloaded, run the installer to upgrade your operating system and then restart the computer.
After booting the computer, try installing Lotus Notes again and see if it works. If you still can’t install it, maybe you need to update your Windows Installer. Download and install Windows Installer 4.5 Redistributable. Try installing Lotus Notes again after installing Windows Installer 4.5.
