Hello,

Digsby is now a day giving me login errors in both Facebook and Hotmail.  In my opinion it is a good IM client for any personal computer.  In the very beginning,  i.e. just after getting it installed, it worked nicely for a few days.

But now it is paining me with login errors though I got the Digsby approved in the security settings of my Facebook account. I set it so that it can save my passwords but it doesn’t work frequently. I need to fix this problem up.

Hi Jack,
 
There are several things you can try. Make sure your Digsby is updated and you are able to login into sites via browser.
 
Unfortunately, there is not much you can do about the Hotmail account except wait for Digsby update, but there is a way to make your Facebook chat work.
 
Turn off the Facebook chat on your Facebook page and after few minutes try logging in again through Digsby. 
 
If that doesn't work, there is another thing you can try.
 
Go to Digsby > My Accounts
In the Add Accounts" section at the top select the Jabber icon.
 
A window asking for JabberID and password should open.
 
In the ID field enter [email protected] (your Facebook page link looks like facebook.com/yourname, so your JabberID should be [email protected])
 
Password is your Facebook password.
 
Remove your Facebook account from Digsby and try connecting, it should work fine.
