I am using Windows Server 2008 and Windows XP in Client systems, I would like to have software that will help me to lock Client screen from Server, Please suggest me the better free Software.

Dear to lock the client screen from server, you do not need any software for that, just follow these settings to do this.

  • Go to User configuration, Administrative Templates, Control Panel and then depending on your Server operating system version choose the display or personalization.
  • Choose the screen saver and set the password and time out setting GPO.

Hello Agustin!

I have confirmed about the problem.

I am suggesting you to use Server Backup to be free from such harassment.

The best sql server backup is the Acronis Backup.

The latest version of it is giving marvelous facilities.There will be a virtual room on your external drive.

The previous backup can be overwritten by this tool. But you have to purchase the Universal Restore feature to get the full restore utility from Acronis route.
