Hi. The other day I just rebooted my Xen server following which I could not log on and got an error message “the local session manager service failed the logon.” On further investigation, I found out that the server was also up. Could you please help me resolve the issue?

Hey. You get the error “the local session manager service failed the logon” when the certificate expires. The server might be up, but Remote Desktop Licensing Manager will show an error saying “not activated” and on activating it will only further extend the error. To go about solving the issue, after you install hotfix and reboot the license server you also need to reboot the Xen server. After doing this, you will be able to log in again. Hope this was helpful.
