Lines on scan prints from Lexmark printer

I use a multifunction Lexmark printer to scan files to the email, but the scans shows lines on the image and this happens on both using the feeder and the flatbed glass. The copy has no lines showing on both feeder and the flatbed glass. Is there anything else I can check on this type of issue?

You performed a good evaluation when says that no lines are present when copying documents just in scanning. This is a good test for the optical system.
 
I suggest you reinstall the scanning driver. Sometimes this software got corrupted and needs to be deleted first and then reinstalled.
 
Go to your control panel and uninstall the scanner software. Then reset the computer and reinstall the software again.
