I am a home user, I have installed Windows 7 64 bits on my computer. I have installed Adobe CS4 to my system. 5 days before I used this application, no issue detected. Now whenever I open this application, I am getting below error message.

This product has encountered a problem which requires you to restart your computer before it can be launched.

What should I do if I want to use the Photoshop application?

I cannot get in touch with Adobe technical support.

Hello Susan,

Error code 148:3 of Adobe CS4 has a specific meaning. It’s totally a license problem. The License Repair Tool can fix this problem. Just use the tool and hopefully everything will be fine.

On the other hand you can try the suggestions below.

First you’ve to close all the Adobe applications. Then download the Licensing Service Update. Run the software and follow the onscreen instructions.
