License file corrupted error when installing Avira Antivirus Software

Hi,

My boss told me to test the Avira Antivir Professional software so I downloaded the trial version which was three months ago.

After the trial version was up, we bought the Avira and reinstalled to the PCs.

However, on the first PC I was about to install to, I got this error message (see below).

Not sure how to go about the error so I turned to this forum.

Can someone give advice on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Avira AntiVir Professional

The license file is corrupted. The file will not be installed.

The license file that you received to upgrade the application as a registered version is somewhat corrupted or broken.

Usually, in this case, you just need to request a new copy of the license patch from Avira’s website.

Be sure to properly indicate in the request that the license patch is intended for Avira Antivir Professional and not for their other products.

I’m sure it will only take a couple of days to process and send your new license patch.

Just apply the newly sent license patch to your Avira Antivir Professional.

If you are still having problems with the program, try downloading again its installer from the main website.

Anyone who wants to try the manual computer virus removal should be careful enough to avoid the risk of deleting needed files and entries.

Here the thing to note is that you are not running two antivirus programs at the same time.

So you need to delete one from your computer first and then you will be able to install another on the same PC.

You need to first uninstall the AVIRA antivirus and then you can install the new one.

Also if you are getting the error message that license file is corrupted then it is because of the reason that you have no license for that product and you are not able to get the license. In this case you need to purchase the copy of your antivirus program and your problem will be solved.

You can consult on the website from where you installed the program or from any valid source available then you need to purchase a copy of that virus program and you will be fine with your work.

I hope this will help you a lot to solve your problem.
