LG is actually one of the biggest companies in the television manufacturing industry. I think their LG Cinema 3D Smart is the latest of their 3D models.
It has Cinema Screen design, battery-free glasses, 2D to 3D conversion and a magic motion remote that gives you more control over your entertainment.

Now about the IPS technology, In-Plane Switching (IPS) is an LCD technology first introduced in 1996 by Hitachi. it was originally developed to correct the poor viewing angles and color problems of LCD's at that time. The technology ensures the problem free viewing of the LCD from different angles.
