I have a Lenovo Server for my small business. I added a 3TB hard drive and when I looked at the hard drive space, it only showed less than 1 TB. Do I need to do any partitioning scheme to make it see the actual capacity of the hard drive?

– First of all, install the appropriate driver of the installed hardware.Â
– Restart the PC.
– Go to Disk Management.
– Check whether you have data in not allocated disk.
– If you have spaces there, partition them based on your requirements.

If you find no available space in allocating disk, format every partition and do it again. You can also check whether you have connected the hardware properly.
