The company has announced that this laptop will be available in market from 21st August of this month. And the starting price will be around 1350$. Yesterday they announced that it will be available in stores from 21st August so you need to wait till 21st august. The price will increase based on your storage capacity and processor it can go up till 1900$.

The models that are available at present are coming with processor speed of around 1.7 GHz which is of the i5 and the storage they are providing is 128 GB of SSD. The other model comes with i7 processor with 2.0 GHz and storage not sure how much they are giving for this.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon ultrabook ships with Microsoft Windows 10 Professional. It runs on Intel Core i5-6300U 3 GHz processor, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD hard drive, and Intel HD Graphics 520 video card but it doesn’t have an optical drive. It has Intel Dual Wireless-AC 8260 Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, HDMI, mini DisplayPort, three USB 3.0 ports, microSD card slot, fingerprint reader, 3.5-millimeter jack, and 720p webcam.

It measures 13.11 x 9.02 x 0.65 inches and weighs 2.6 pounds with 14-inch display at 2560 x 1440 pixels native screen resolution. It comes with 1-year limited warranty. This is one light ultrabook which allows you to carry much easier or even carry it one-handedly unlike the heavier ThinkPad T460s, weighs around 3 pounds, or the T460 which weighs around 3.8 pounds.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is built to endure the harshness of frequent business travel with its super magnesium body and carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic lid. The built-in single-touch fingerprint reader can be used for pre-boot authentication, which shows up before Windows 10 loads, and the built-in Windows hello logins. The laptop has bottom-mounted speakers which can give an accurate audio output loud enough to fill a medium-size living room.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t have an Ethernet port and a full-size SD card reader. It runs on 4-cell battery with 9 hours 6 minutes standard battery rundown time. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptop can “RapidCharge” up to 80 percent capacity in just 1 hour and 100 percent capacity in 2.5 hours.

The laptop also has a battery life feature that preserves battery health, the laptop will not charge when you plug it in if the battery capacity is at 95 percent or higher. Price starts at $951.75.
