A Japanese company,

Elecom is trying to change the use of NFC but what kind of changing is going to be included in it?

As its battery is neither rechargeable nor replaceable, how long will it run if I use it 8 hours a day?

Greetings Charles,

Reviews on the new Elecom NFC keyboard is that you won't be able to replace the batteries on this one.

1.) It's stated to cost $240.

2.) That it will work for 18 months at 8 hours a day. There is no charging.

3.) It requires a companion application

4.) Runs on all Android phones running Gingerbread 2.3.4 and up

5.) The idea is that you place the phone in the middle of the keyboard in between both sides of keys and it connects wirelessly.

No plans to sell it outside of Japan at the moment.

Hope this helps.
