Hi. The steps for installing the HP Deskjet 3050 printer cartridge require you to first load the paper into the tray which requires you to raise the tray, pull the extender and loading the paper into the tray. Slide the paper until it stops going further in. Next, replace the cartridge by loading a blank paper into the tray, turn the printer on by pressing the power button on, open the door of the cartridge and pull the cartridge from its slot.
Next, insert the new cartridge into the slot and push it until it is in place. Then, align the cartridge by lifting the lid of the scanner, placing the page of alignment on the scanner glass and closing the lid of the scanner. Then, press OK so that the alignment page is scanned and finally after the success message for alignment is displayed on the screen, click on OK.
