Hi. The steps to turn printer offline Windows 8 online are as follows-
1) Go to start menu, then click on devices and printers to check the status of the printer and ensure that it is ready to print
2) Check the status of the printer after resetting the printer after disconnecting the cord
3) Then, use the HP printer and scan doctor to check the connection and if you see a green tick mark, it means that the connections are all good and the printer is working properly.
4) Ensure that the port that is being selected by you is the one to which the printer is connected
5) Then, a manual connection needs to be connected by entering the manual IP and then clicking on apply to save the settings and modifications done
6) After you have set an IP address for the printer, add another printer to the network
7) Then, using the HP Printer assistant, install the printer again
