I have a Dell laptop and when I turn it on the screen remains black. So I tried to holding the power button to shut it off. Then I waited for 30-40 seconds and turned it on again and still laptop screen won’t turn on. What is the problem here?

This problem is usually very easy to repair. First, turn off your laptop by pressing down the start button. Next, remove the battery. Press and hold the start button again for about a minute. Release that button and turn on your laptop. Keep pressing the start button and the display should appear. If this still does not work, try it up to four times. Replace the battery if in case you have to.
