Yes, it can easily be paired with any other Bluetooth-enabled Smartphones and gadgets but it can’t be paired and stream audio to other wireless device like for example the Bluetooth headphones.

The BlackBerry Music Gateway is designed to be paired and receive streamed data from any Bluetooth capable Smartphones and devices but not to send the streamed data over Bluetooth. Instead, the streamed data is passed on the cables down to the device where the black box is plugged into.

The BlackBerry Music Gateway is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a MicroUSB power port, and an LED. There are two ways to connect the black box to your music system using your choice of two cables. First, is by using the 3.5mm headphone jack socket.

The second one is connected to the RCA stereo inputs. Once you have connected the black box to your sound system and it is already powering using the USB plug, you simply need to pair it with your Smartphone. Hold down the black box’s pairing button until the LED lights red and blue.

Its pairing button is located hidden in the RIM BlackBerry logo. After the LED flashes, find the device with your Smartphone and then pair it. You can then send your music to the device as far as 10 meters away. Of course, the signal drops if there are walls in between.
