Hi there everyone! I have just installed the latest version of ATI catalyst. After installing, I restarted the computer and then when I am trying to run it, it is being unresponsive. Please, somebody help me fix it! Thanks.

Hi,

When you installed the update, did you delete the previous version first? Here are a few things we can try:

  • Try going to all programs and open the Catalyst from there, the shortcut you have may still be set on the previous version.
  • Uninstall the current and previous Catalyst version and reinstall the latest version.
  • Uninstall your Catalyst including the components and you video driver as well (make sure you have a copy of the video driver to reinstall later). Restart in safe mode and remove the AMD video driver (Driver sweeper is a very effective tool for this). Then, restart to your normal mode and install your catalyst again.
  • If none of this work try a system restore
