At the Computex Taipei 2012 trade-show, G.Skill revealed 96GB DDR3 memory kit along with 3GHz-capable memory modules. With the latest developments of manufacturing DDR3 memory and Intel's Ivy Bridge which is capable of running DRAM at high frequencies, it is expected G.Skill and other manufacturers to develop their faster memory modules in future. But up to now only two manufactures have announced 3000MHz DDR3 memory modules.

In other hand Samsung has announced a DDR4 memory with 40% energy efficiency than DDR3 with a maximum bandwidth of 2.13Gbps at 1.2V which is twice as the regular DDR3. This memory type will be suitable for mobile devices, laptops, desktops and servers.
