This is my serious problem in my laptop. The mouse or keyboard has no response. What should I do to fix this?

Laptop problem, there is no response to keyboard or mouse.
The same I did encountered last month. But I manage to fix it. Just follow my steps.
- Disconnect the laptop power cord.
- Remove the battery from the laptop.
- Just wait 10 min.
- Just replace the battery into the unit.
- Reconnect it.
- Reconnect the power cord.
- Turn the laptop on.

Do the following as given below:
- Turn off the laptop.
- Now connect the keyboard and mouse.
- Switch on the laptop.
This should work. If not then maybe the keyboard and the mouse are not being detected by the computer. So, You have to do the following again:
- Go to "My computer" and right click on the icon.
- Then "click manage".
- Now a different "computer management" window will open.
- Now go to device manager at the left side of the window.
- Then on the right you'll see a list of items connected to the computer, go to keyboards on the list and click it.
- Same process for the mouse too.
- Click update on both the cases.
After that restart the computer. Hope it will solve your problem.
