When I open my laptop it automatically types password even though I didn’t type or touch anything on the keyboard.

And when I click anywhere it creates a sound that as if it will explode.

What could be the cause of this problem?

Any solution is much appreciated.

Hello Phoenix,

Try starting your pc in "Safe Mode". This will load the lowest setting you laptop will run. Observe if it’s working as normal (nothing has changed). If it does not, initiate the system restore back to an earlier date when this was functioning properly. If it does, try to browse in the web and reinstall the keyboard driver for your laptop. To know what keyboard driver your laptop was, just type the product name of your laptop (specific brand). If it’s not working, try to replace for a new keyboard.

On the weird sounds:

Shut down your laptop.  Tap away at f10 as you start the laptop to access the bios menu.  Under the Advanced/Diagnostic tab you should find the facility to run tests on both the Hard Drive and Memory. If both the above tests pass, try the following.

At the Start Menu, open All Programs> Accessories, look for the Command prompt and point the mouse and right click and select 'Run as Administrator'. In the prompt, type the following codes.

sfc /scannow

( note that there is a space between sfc and the / )

Let the process to be complete. Next, on My Computer, left click the Local Disc C: once to highlight it, right click Local Disc C and select Properties.  Click the Tools tab and then click the button to 'Check the Drive for Errors'.  In the following window make sure that both boxes are ticked and then click Start.  Part of this process will require a restart to check the drive.

I hoped this helps!

Hello Phoenix,

You should first of all try removing the keyboard and then ensure that there's no dust/fragments inside. That could be one reason why your computer is behaving that way. If you need help on how to remove the keyboard, you will need to check the  make and model of the laptop and then Google for  a step-by-step guide.

Otherwise you will need to try using another keyboard. Also check if you have a Wireless keyboard besides the power supply. In case you do, check if you have got another Wireless Mouse or a second Wireless Keyboard to another computer you may be having. If you have those devices then they could be having conflicting signals causing the typing.

Regards,

Carl
