Hello buddies,

After I tried using the LaCie set-up assistant, but I keep getting this error message stating that PowerPC applications are no longer supported.

Is there any way around this?

You can’t open the application LaCie Setup Assistant because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.

Hey Akisu!

Well if I am not wrong, you must be a Mac user. I will explain you that can you avoid this problem.

First of all, to setup your disk, there is no need of application.

What you have to do is simply to format the disk as Mac. For this purpose go to utilities, select Disk Utility, from here, you have to select the disk and erase tab. Your disk will be formatted as Mac.

It is common that many of the disks come only for Windows, so to use this program you have to make it Mac format.

I Hope you understand.

Thanks
