LabView 2009 – “PLEASE VERIFY VI SERVER”

Hello

I use the VIPM2011 edition as well as LabView2009 edition. I have organized all the necessary ports.

When I try to set up the Arduino Labview pack, one Test window gives me this error
"PLEASE VERIFY VI SERVER".

Here are the screen shots of the window of LV, VIPM and the error message pop-up.

Please help me to solve it.

Thanks a lot.

VIPM could not connect to LabVIEW 2009.

Please verify the VI Server: Exported VIs and Machine Access setting in LabVIEW 2009,

Make sure you are allowing access to VIPM by specifying localhost in the allowed list.

Hello Alex,

The following are the resolutions that I will recommend that you use to resolve that issue:

  • You will need to verify that the VI Server Configuration settings have been set properly.
  • Also ensure that the VI Server Machine Access includes the following IP address "127.0.0.1".

If you the above workarounds and the error still occurs, you will need to try the following:

  • Try adding "localhost" to the VI Server Machine Access.
  • Also go to the control panel and disable the firewall and any other security programs that you may have installed on your computer for they may be blocking VIPM from working properly.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Carl
