Hello,

When I freshly installed Ubuntu 12.04LTS Operating system, I choose not to install proprietary graphics driver, but I’m getting login errors (see screenshots).

My keyboard and mouse also hang for a minute before I can used it. What is wrong with my installation? Please provide feedback about it. Please refer to the screenshot of this issue. Who has already installed Ubuntu? Can I get the instruction on how to setup this OS properly?

Thank you.

Dear User,

This is probably the indication of not having installed your OS properly

I would suggest you to reinstall ubuntu OS. This can be done easily since ubuntu is really user friendly.

But make sure you install every including your proprietary graphic drivers.

And if you have a faster internet connection make sure to enable to download the updates while the installation.

Thank you

Hello,

First of all diagnose the problem bothering your Ubuntu.

Follow the procedure below for diagnosing:-

Download and install memtest86 on your system from GRUB Boot menu.

Run memtest86 for all the night and see what it sorts out.

Monitor the temperature of your system by using temperature measuring applications.

If you are using a graphic card or some other adopter make sure to update its drivers and check working of drivers. Troubleshoot if drivers are not working properly.

If the above method doesn’t solve your problem then try Downgrading your Ubutu version from “12.04” to “11.10”. Then restart your system and try again.

Hope that works!!
