When people send me PDF attachments, they are opened with Adobe Reader. I need to work with the tools of Adobe Acrobat Pro X and want Acrobat Pro X to be the assigned program for all PDF’s sent to me. Any suggestion?
Keep Adobe Pro X primary and keep Adobe Reader from being used
To set Adobe Acrobat Pro X as your default PDF reader follow the steps below:-
1. Right click on any PDF file.
2. Go to "Open with" tab and select "Choose default program".
3. From the window choose Adobe Acrobat Pro X.
4. Apply your changes.
From now on all your PDF files will open with Adobe Acrobat Pro X.
