Is Kaspersky the Best Anti-virus Yet?

I have been using McAfee Antivirus for my Windows 7 in my laptop for a year now and I haven’t experienced any slowness until this week. I do update my antivirus when needed and regularly do system scanning and have not found anything suspicious. However, these past few days my laptop runs normally fast at first and after few minutes it just freezes and my internet browser stops responding.

Do I need to change my antivirus software? I heard about Kaspersky being one of the best, will it be better to switch to it?

There are lots of reasons why your computer experiencing that. Don’t just rely to your anti virus. There are some reasons exempt what you are thinking although higher percent maybe your anti virus is not strong like other anti virus that’s why computer maybe infected by virus. And talking about Kaspersky? Kaspersky is very good Anti virus. I’ve been using it for almost a year and never been experiencing system crash due to virus.

Just need to update always your anti virus. Kaspersky will give you real time protection. Can detect and delete worms, Trojans, viruses and even keyloggers and other malicious programs that may down your system. I guarantee you that Kaspersky is a very good Anti Virus.

Is your antivirus subscription up to date and still valid? When subscriptions expire the computer would experience slow down and perhaps loss of internet connection which may not be caused by the antivirus software but because of the fact that your virus definitions are out of date and is prone to infection with viruses that are not in your system's virus definitions.

If this is the case, uninstall antivirus software and replace it immediately with an updated antivirus. As far as which antivirus is better, one can be better than the other as one may detect a certain infection and the other doesn't. The best practice is not to rely on antivirus protection but to be careful yourself when you're online and stay away from suspicious websites and files.

There can be a number of reasons which can cause the internet to slow down. Just clean out your network cache (cookies/temp files, etc). This one is a bit far out with laptops but sometimes the RAM is not sufficient to do multiple tasks.

I have personally used Kaspersky and ESET NOD32 antivirus and I will suggest you to go for ESET NOD32. It is the best antivirus; it protects you against threats that are constantly evolving, without needing the latest signature updates.

Give it a try, you will be impressed at how well it protects you against the latest threats, it will automatically take action against unknown threats. Download a trial of ESET NOD32 antivirus. You can stick with Kaspersky if you want to, but ESET NOD32 maybe better.
