I uninstalled windows media player and replaced it with Jet audio 6.0.6 which I downloaded from download.com. During the installation process, the status was almost going to the 100% mark but stops when the setup cannot find a certain file called MFC42.DLL. The CPU usage is now at 100% and after waiting for two minutes, I get an error:

"File error

The following error occurred on the file 'C:\ . . .\data 182914.cab

Not enough quota is available to process this command

(0x718)"

I tried to click on ignore but the error still pops up and the setup would eventually stop responding. I appreciate any feedback on this issue. Best regards.

Did you ever try Jet software before? I assume it is your first time with it. The fact that is possible is that you must have the software with some files corrupt or missing. Or that you have installed and then something has tampered on your system and got a file deleted, may be by your antivirus, because it found an infected file.

Try searching the .dll file in the internet and then copy it to your system32 folder. More DLL file missing errors may occur and you need to do the same to all of them. Try this, I wish you best of luck.

Thanks.
