The reason why mozilla is blocking JAVA is because 
there is a security issue with older Java versions that can allow a malicious website to gain control of your computer

MOZILLA disabled or blocked Java due to serious security flaws by the previous version of java 7. See the VERSION of java if it's disabled in ADD-ONS, PLUGGINS.
Sadly, there are affected versions of java.
CHECK the ENABLE PLUGINS.
