What do I need to know as a fresh programming student who wishes to develop Java application software? I am in the tertiary institution in one of the East African Countries. First start with some video tutorials where you need to learn how things are done in mathematically then try to solve any problem using java language. After that start with creating interfaces which is called gui . Hope that will help you
