Intel's Ivy bridge processors are great. But are they better than the Trinity based processors of AMD. Can anyone give me benchmark? And how much power they each consume under huge load?

Ivy bridge vs Trinity Processor Benchmark

qa-featured

Intel's Ivy Bridge processing is great. In processing Intel beats AMD trinity but there are few things in which AMD also beats Intel.

Graphics:

Intel may have processing power but when it comes to graphics there in no comparison with AMD.

AMD Trinity provides way too better graphics then Intel Ivy Bridge.

Here is the bench mark of Diablo III game on both Intel Ivy Bridge and AMD trinity Laptop.

AMD Trinity has a built-in Graphic unit which supports High-end graphics. Trinity support DirectX 11 and Pixel shader 5.

BATTERY LIFE:

Trinity beats Ivy Bridge in Graphics like gaming but in processing Intel consume less battery then AMD. AMD is for Gaming and Intel is for processing. It’s on your choice if you prefer gaming then chose AMD but if you are a traveler or business person Intel is for you.

COST:

HP Envy Spectra XT which comes with Ivy Bridge cost $999 and HP Envy Sleek book which comes with Trinity cost $599.

Both come with 4GB DDR3 RAM.

So if i have to choose between Intel Ivy Bridge and AMD Trinity i definitely will choose Trinity.

Hope it will help 🙂
