Hello,
I want help with this small question. Â I need a way to switch off the auto detect of my iTunes.
I plug it in 10 times daily and each time I just connect to charge it and not sync. Where are  the settings, to  shift to, don't detect and sync or check for updates?

Disable temporarily iTunes from syncing iPhone automatically
Gerry,
Here is the simplest way to disable autosync for any of your apple mobile devices:
-
Before plugging in your iPhone or iPod into your computer, open iTunes first.

For the PC, Click Edit -> Settings -> Devices

For Mac, Access the iTunes menu -> Preferences -> Devices.

In the devices window, click on the Devices tab.Â

Click on the checkbox that says "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPad from syncing automatically."
That should disable, auto Sync for you.
