I cannot connect to the iTunes Store because of the error I get "ITunes store connectivity problem, error code: we could not complete your iTunes request. An unknown error occurred (0x800b0101)". I am trying to go to iTunes to activate the iPhone 4 that I have. Thank you.

You need to go through these steps to solve the problem. First of all check your Date and time. To correct date and time in windows, go control panel, then click "Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options". After that select date and time. Now correct the date and time. In Mac go apple menu, choose system preference. Then click date & time. Enable “set date and time automatically”. Check the time zone is correct. Now adjust your certificate setting. In Mac choose utilities from go menu. Open Keychain Access. Choose preference. Hit on the Certificates tab. Select Off under both “Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP)” and “Certificate Revocation List (CRL)”. Restart your Mac.
