Go to start>>control panel>>user accounts >>create a new user account that has admin in the new user account try to install iTunes for all users. If it installs, log out and go to your usual account, check you have access to iTunes and can use the program, set it to find your music and create the library.

Once your happy its installed and fully working you can delete the spare user account that you made.

Hi,

I can help you fix the error on your iTunes application. I suggest you to perform these troubleshooting steps:

>>Make sure you are logged in as the Administrator.

>>Check how the Parental Control is configured on your computer. If Parental Controls are set, you will not be able to download songs with iTunes.

>>To disable Parental Controls, press Start > Control Panel > User Accounts and Family Safety.

>>You’ll need to provide the username and password if any to unlock the Parental Control.

This should fix the issue with iTunes on your computer. Just in case if you are unable to fix it, try reinstalling the iTunes on your computer.

Thanks and regards,

Skarbos Jay.

According to a post in the Apple forum, error code “450” can be associated with the Parental Controls in Windows Vista. This affects downloads from the iTunes store. So, if you are using Windows Vista and you keep receiving error “450”, you need to add the following URLs to Parental Controls’ safe list:

To do that, in Windows Vista, click “Start”, “Control Panel” then under “User Accounts and Family Safety”, click “Set up parental controls for any user” and then select your user account. On the next screen, under “Windows Settings” section, click “Windows Vista Web Filter”.

Windows Vista Web Filter

On the next screen, under “Allow and block specific websites” section, click “Edit the Allow and block list”. On the next screen, enter the addresses listed above one at a time then click “Allow”.

Enter allowed websites
Enter allowed websites

And that’s it. Now, try downloading your songs again with iTunes and see if it works.
