Experts! I manually clean up my files. Is it ok to delete file catalog XP system? Will I encounter any issue if I do so? Your ideas will be much appreciated. Thanks guys in advance!

Hello

 

I guess your purpose of deleting catalog file is for free up space in drive. It’s really very harmful top delete catalog files. In XP all files are in encrypted format, so if you delete the catalog file then OS will fail to load.

You can delete junk files of XP to clean up memory, if it’s for space cleanup, but never delete catalog files.
