Hello techyv,

Is it possible to rename fonts? I was assigned as a data encoder in a business company, I am dealing with Microsoft access, excel and other multimedia applications such as Adobe cs5 photoshop. I just wonder if I can rename those photoshop application fonts in the font file location of the software? So that I can be able to recognize it easily in a number form.

Expecting some help from you guys. Thank you.

Hello Brenda,

Yes it is possible to rename fonts. You can rename any font name like you rename any other folder in your computer.There is a simplest method i know to change fonts, this will change the font names from every application you use. Please follow the steps to do it:

1- Open My Computer.

2- Go to C:WINDOWSFonts

3- A list of all the fonts used will appear in front of your screen, select any of the font and rename it.

4- To check the changed font, open Microsoft Word and press Ctrl + Shift + F

5- Select your renamed font.
