Hi Techs!

I have this issue which is bugging me.

Is it possible to have an OpenOffice base OLAP cube on their OpenOffice spreadsheet?

I would like to have a spreadsheet where I can carry out some online data analysis and reporting; yes, it is more like a 3D spreadsheet.

I appreciate your help.

Hello,

That is quite a very uncommon implementation in openoffice but i have a simple and easiest way you can do this. You have to activate datapilot datasource and then openoffice will do the rest automatically for you, datapilot is a great tool that can be used to analyze data in openoffice.

You can also visit the openoffice developer guide manual for more coding.

Michael

It is possible for you to have this 3d or 2d in your open office spreadsheet. I would provide you a manual on how to do this and for you to have a better understanding on how to create it, what kind of techniques and graphs will you be using. Just read carefully cause every small detail is very important.
