No it is not possible to have more than one PCI slot in you motherboard. PCI slot or PCI bus is used for motion videos and other such  a heavy load. For example you want to play video your video card or other thing could be added to the PCI slot. PCI slot are very expensive and are used only one in every motherboard.

But if you want to all manually you can. you have to keep in mind that every motherboard can't support PCI.

So you have to make this in mind.

Hope this will solve your problem.

Thanks for asking in techyv.com.

Hello Rosalie Diaz.

Yes, it is possible to add more PCI slots to your motherboard.  A couple of years ago, motherboards used to have around 5 or more PCI slots.  With the advent of AGP, most motherboards started having 5 PCI slots.  When PCI express was born, motherboards further reduced conventional PCI slots to around 3 or even less.  There's a way to add more conventional PCI slots to your motherboard without having to purchase a new motherboard.

This can be accomplished with the use of a "riser card".  It's basically a card that you plug into an available PCI slot on your motherboard.  Some use it to position card in a horizontal position to fit in low-profile cases.  Should you decide to buy a riser card, be sure to check for compatibility first.

Here are photos of riser cards:

Motherboards have a limited number of PCI slots. In my old Pentium 4 Dell computer, I only have two (2) PCI slots. In my current Lenovo computer which runs on Intel Core 2 Quad processor, I have two (2) PCI, one (1) PCI Express x1, and one (1) PCI Express x16 slots.

If you think the slots on your motherboard is not enough and you need more, you can extend it by using a riser card. It is a PCB or printed circuit board that gets a multitude of signal lines from a single connector on the motherboard and distributes them through dedicated connectors on the card.

Riser cards are frequently used to allow you to add expansion cards on your system enclosed in a low-profile case where the height of the case doesn’t allow you to place a full height expansion card perpendicularly or vertically. Riser cards are boards that you plug into the motherboard and provide additional slots for adapter cards.
