This morning I had received mail about my assignment. But when I tried to open it I observed that its size is too big and more than its limit. Can anyone suggest me any solution that helps me to compress Outlook data file so that I can reduce the size of my file?
Is It Possible To Compress Outlook Data File Which Is Present In .pst Format?
This example is shown using Microsoft Outlook 2010
Backup the file so that you do not lose data if anything goes wrong.
Open Outlook and go to the Settings tab
- Navigate to “Info then Account Settings and then to Account Settings”:
- Now select the “Data Files” tab, click on the data file you wish to compress to highlight it, and then click on Settings:
- A new window will now appear on the screen. On the Windows Click on the “Advanced” tab, then select “Outlook Data File Settings”:
4. Click on “Compact Now click OK:
5. Your Outlook Data File has now been compressed.
