Hi,

I have a set of speakers that work on my iPod but not on my computer. They turn on but nothing happens. Is the problem with the computer or the speaker? How can these speakers work on my PC?

Thanks a lot.

Hello Jeff,

The easiest way and the most preferred by other Ipod users is to;

  1. simply use your Ipod dock and then inject/connect  your computer speaker to the port. That should solve the problem.
  2. Otherwise, you just have to plug your PC speaker to your Ipod's jack.

I hope this simple fact can help you out with your problem.

Hello!

You’re saying that your speakers are working well with your iPod but not in your PC. So that’s means your speaker is good. Maybe there‘s problem in your PC sound system.

Here’s an easy solution to check your PC’s sound system. Just connect another good speaker and then check it.

If it is not working, then you have to install your sound driver correctly. Set to default settings.

Good luck.

If you have a set of speakers that work on your iPod but not on your computer, first, make sure your sound card is installed. If no driver is installed, the sound card will not work and you will not hear any sound from your computer. If the driver is already installed, uninstall and reinstall the driver.

Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install. Once installed, start Revo then select your sound card driver software among the applications and click “Uninstall.” Follow the normal uninstall process. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click to restart later. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and click to delete everything it finds.

This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo then restart the computer. After booting, install the sound card driver back. If you haven’t updated yet or you don’t have the driver, you can always download from the manufacturer’s website. See the following list of computer manufacturers:
