IPhone third gen applications problem with iOS5 installation

I recently installed the latest iOS on my third generation iPhone and none of the applications are working as they quit every time I try to launch them. I tried refreshing the device by turning it on then off but it still did not solve the problem.

These issues never appeared on my iP4, and I even checked on the system of iP4 before I went through with the installation. I am now considering not to update another unit that I have to iOS5 because of the issues I have.

Can you please give me advice on whether I should or not install the latest operating system?

Thank you.

I currently own an iPad 2 and iPhone 4G. iPad 2 has OS 4.3.3 and iPhone 4 has OS 5. As for your question regarding whether you should upgrade or not, my answer is NO.

The reason behind this is that IOS 5 is so much bulgy compared to the previous one. They have added so many options in that OS without noticing that if the hardware will support such features.

Also the IOS 5 consumes more battery than the 4.3.3 and that is a major drawback.

The only good thing I got from the IOS 5 is the Notification Bar which they added. The Notification Bar idea was originally taken from the Android. But believe me, you will still use the push notifications instead the notifications bar.

So in a nutshell, IOS 5 is a total NO unless they release an update to it which will solve these issues. Then you can upgrade it
